Today was going to be the first installment of Ways To Use It Wednesday - with various ways to use different tools, inks, etc but in the wake of the Fort Hood tragedy last week...I just want to say thank you to all the members of the armed forces! My uncle died in September, and outside the church two young men carried out the military burial ritual - I was so moved!
So, again I say thank you, and hope that we can all remember a Veteran today!
This Wednesday from 11-2 is the Stamping Good Time Kids Stamp Camp! There are two slots open, and it includes a pizza lunch...what a great way for your child to spend Veteran's Day, making cards, scrapbook pages and little gifts or home decor items, remembering those they are grateful for!
I absolutely love the scrapbook page idea I have for them, for those of you who don't know I am also an elementary special education teacher, so sometimes that side of me comes out when I'm stamping or scrapbooking, lol!

I just got back from the November Stampin and Scrappin getaway and it was a great time - BIG shout out to Vernon Briggs and the staff at the Hampton Inn and Suites in Wells - AMAZING job!!!

23 women are gathered to enjoy great accomodations, yummy food, and of course scrapping and stamping all weekend long!
Some are Facebook Fans - sooo cool to meet them in person! Others are friends of friends...I'm not scrappin as much as I am working on gifts for upcoming craft fairs, like the one at Saco Middle School next Saturday!
I love one of the classes I am doing this weekend, it's a bag, tag and card class - look for it to be coming up soon at the Stampin Studio in Saco!
Today I'm off with 22 other women for a weekend of Scrappin and Stampin in Wells, Maine! This is the third Getaway I've held, and each time it's different! The first two times were in Saco, and I moved a little further south to Wells, which is closer to Massachusetts and New Hampshire. The next one is scheduled for January, more information will be coming over the weekend as to dates and prices.

Veterans Day is next Wednesday, there is no school for kids, but there is STAMPING SCHOOL!!!
The Stamping Good Time Kids Camp is Wednseday from 11-2, and includes fun stamping and scrapbooking activies plus a pizza lunch, and NOT the kind from the school cafeteria, lol!
Cost is $20 per child, siblings only $7 more!
